Private Instruction: Private Instruction is provided 7 days a week. Appointments are available from 10 AM until 10 PM for most days. All teachers are personally selected by Tom Langford, Dance Director, and trained by Tom Langford, Mendy Langford, and David Hamilton (3 time U.S. Champion), and other top competitors.
Group Classes: Group lessons are conveniently scheduled with a minimum of 13 classes each week.
Newcomer classes are for absolute beginners. You can walk in with absolutely no knowledge about dancing and by the end of class be doing the basic steps with various partners.
Bronze 1 classes are for students who have learned the basic steps in that dance. The techniques that distinguish one dance from another are introduced at this level.
Bronze 2 classes place primary emphasis on styling and partnering.
Silver classes are for students that have achieved a high level of understanding in partnership dancing.
Private Groups: Your group or organization can arrange for a private group class or series of classes. We can also arrange to come to your group function. Call for details.
Practice Parties: On Friday and Saturday nights, Rocket City Dance Club comes to life. Beginning, intermediate, and advanced dancers meet and mingle to enjoy the best in music and dance in north Alabama. 7 PM is start time for a choice of three different levels of group class instruction. The dance party starts at 8 PM and lasts until 10:15 PM.
